If by Invisible Monsters you are referring to the novel by Chuck Pahlanuk, I don't see how it matters whether Jessica Biel is in it or not, because Chuck Pahlanuk is a crappy novelist, and the only thing embarassing about the movie Fight Club was that he was the hack who wrote the book.
Here is begat the debate

Regarding the book Fight Club, I couldn't agree more. I'm not sure how such a horrid book turned into such a meaningful film, but thank God someone saved it.

Listen to the Fight Club movie commentary with the screenwriter and Pahlanikiwakawuk, it's pretty hilarious. Very very clear which of the two was responsible for the film's intelligence.

I didnt watch that one, I wached the one mentioned on the nathanj forum with Hellena Bonam Carter as the ghost guest who brings ignored coments to scenes she is in. My cousin love Paliimtoogoodtoactualywritewithskillchik or however his name is spelled. I would agree though. The book is not worth the trees that gave their knoble lives for its paper. Sorry Austin

Two things to establish very quickly regarding Fight Club: 1. David Fincher is a visual genius and he too should be given credit for successfully translating Fight Club to film. 2. Further proof that Mr. Palahiojohnmduk is something less than a genius can be evidenced by the fact that he has written many, many books (all of which are some basic derivative of Fight Club, let's be honest) and only one has been made into a movie, despite the fact that he seems to develop characters and plots that are intended for the Hollywood treatment (meaning his characters aren't nearly as complex as his plots... also not a knock against film, just against the typical Hollywood film). I think his next book should be titled, "Someone Please Make This Into Another Movie."
And speaking of commentary tracks, the new David Mamet film Spartan has a DVD commentary track featuring none other than Mr. Val Kilmer. I haven't seen the film, but I guarantee this commentary track (and the bewilderment it will undoubtedly cause) is worth the price of a rental.

The Rock says this...
Surrely it's not all Fincherr, I am a big fan of his, BUT, the trranslation of book to screen isnt just the directorrs job, the scrreenwriterr has a big parrt to play aswell. Jim Uhls. Then again. I've neverr rread the book, but, I don't agrree with all the crriticism aimed at Palace Nickelback, I'm going on the assumption that the book is quite bad, ok, but frrom my point of view, I would prreferr to be the guy who wrrote the shitty book, that inspirred the one of the greatest films, than the guy who did not!
Herre Endeth the Lesson.
P.s. The Rock NEVER said that!

I'm glad to see that so many other people I respect share my view of this ridiculous book.
What a disappointment after the film.
