I think you should know im beyond this forum.....Everyone should know that Im beyond/above all this shambles.
Sorry, excuse me.
I dont think you do know me.....actually...to correct that last sentence....you dont know me. Actually maybe we have met. I dont know. i dont think you do know me. hmmm....Ive only been to the states once, and i didnt meet you (unless youre a short black cab driver called alfred who ripped me off?) I dont really know many people here....but daveshearn has been like a brother to me over the last few years especially...
Why do you think you know me....or why do you think you dont know me and wanted to point it out - trying to make me feel bad? well ok, then.
As you wish

Dave - I was kiddin, i cant tell if you knew that and were continuing the joke, which ive now ruined, or you thought i was bein rude to b-girl, so to save anyone thinking im rude (at least in this instance) ill let on that i was being affable in a slightly too affable way...im no good at being affable and should stop.
Ive stopped.
B-girl - answer my post, NOW DAMN YOU!
Anna - What are the chances of there being two JJhards in the locality, let alone the world....none, as far as i know. Yes we have met - were you not aware weve met? weve never been officially introduced, but i know you (and I thought you knew me) I'm the guy in the background, the one in the shadows, the one you see everywhere but never know who i am.....and yes.....im the one with the stupid beard and hair.......yep, thats me. Next time i see you i'll point myself out. that'll be fun. It took Nathan (by the way where is he? he hasnt been on here in ages) about half a year to put the pieces together and figure i was me. I guess theres more to me than text. hopefully.
JJhards - How you doin? If your another JJhards, please get in touch and we'll meet up, go for a coffee and practice round-house kicks.

Random topic revival.... i just watched 'wedding crashers'. i laughed. very hard. probably annoyed the people around me. anyways, point being: it was funny, i liked it. We went to see that on Tuesday. I thought it was very good, chuckled out loud a couple of times ("pervert", "we lost a lot of good men out there", and the whole scene with the Grandma...) and the presence of Will Ferrell made me grin (just because, regardless of popular opinion, I absolutely love Elf). So I liked it too. Not as laugh-out-loud funny as I expected, but chucklesome and entertaining. I also just watched Dirty Dancing for the possible thousandth time....and I do so love Patrick Swayze.

Dave...I apologise to you, if I'd known you hadnt seen memento, I would have recommended it to you, so in that respect I have failed as the master of all films and film related things.
Sorry.
Memento What a great film, nearly highly original, brilliantly made and the plot played out wonderfully. I like this film so much when I saw it (which was maybe 4/5 years ago, that I purchased a poloroid camera. And tattoo'd random shit on my body) If you like the style of the backward/moving forward timline you should also check out Irreversible (although this is quite a disturbing (but brilliantly made) film) and theres one that came out this year called 5x2..whcih is sposed to be brilliant...definatelt one I want to check out....

memento is a corker.
also, has anyone else seen Melinda and Melinda? me and Dave seemed to be the only takers for it when a whole bunch of us saw it.
if you want a funny film/not funny film/ great film, The Hudsucker Proxy is perfect. I want to hear other views on it, Tim Robbins plays a great geeky chap.
side note: im sitting here in my room at southampton uni observing people moving in, and all the dads seem to be wearing shorts. Please let me know if this is a way of proving your dadhood? im stumped...quite literally!

(haha, Dave, I just read the PM conversation we had back in April about uni and how old we felt. Can't believe we're actually here! And I haven't screamed in a corner yet....)
Anyway. University has meant that i am finally getting to improve my cool status by watching films that I have never seen before. People are always telling me off for not seeing enough good films. Not my fault no-one takes me
Anyway, this week I have watched Closer, Dodgeball, and POTC (I had actually seen POTC about twenty times before, I had to watch an old favourite because all this new-ness was disconcerting me. And i still get excited over prettypretty keira Knightley having my name).
Dodgeball was crap. What a waste of an evening.
Closer was fantastic. I didn't expect to like it in the first twenty minutes, but then by the end I was in love with it.
I also watched Freaky Friday, with Lindsay Lohan. Will you all look down on me if I say i actually enjoyed it?
I still haven't seen the new Pride and Prejudice or the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I did have a buy one get one free voucher for the Odeon but it expired at the end of September and i couldn't find anyone to go with me in time so i gave it to a guy on my floor who then used it to take a girl on date. He bought the tickets before she arrived so she didn't know how cheap he is. That made me laugh.
I'm making stupidly long posts to pass time between lectures so i don't have to do any work. Sorry about that.
