oh boy. i mean, oh boy, that was the hardest i've laughed in a really long time.

this was my first time reading Zooey's posts on rcjohnson's website....highly recommend doing so to anyone else..... out loud laughter and delight- a particular kind that Zooey's writing often brings me to, and a "caught off guard" last paragraph that made me slow my eyes down to a pace that really allowed the words to sink in.... cause it was like all of a sudden he took me from laughter to a quiet understanding of vulnerability and tension that I can relate to, and that was somehow threaded through with hope...... deep truth...... maybe no one else will come away with that, but it met me.  Tea in the morning, maybe that is what I will think about as I go to bed tonight..... but since I don't really like the tea here, I will perhaps think of you Zooey, getting up in England and holding on to a warm cuppa, as I've oft. seen you do, Z .... and that will make my thoughts warm.

I finished reading the latest summer movie review post and was so pleased that I almost went on to the next one, but pausing, I thought it was such a treat, and should be savored "one post....one day at a time"

Paramount Pictures released a poster for the upcoming J.J. Abrams-directed “Super 8” on Apple iTunes.
Here is the official synopsis of the film:
“In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.”
